PURPOSE: An AIN(Advanced Intelligent Network) system in conformity with international standards in wired/wireless communication networks is provided to offer an intelligent network system that meets international standards and can be applied to all communication networks, including wireless telephone networks as well as wired telephone networks. CONSTITUTION: An AIN system consisting of SMPs(Service Management Points)(100a,100b) and SCPs(Service Control Points)(110-1-110-n) offers new and diverse service a calling subscriber(134) and a called subscriber(136) connected through a PSTN(130). Each SMP and SCP comprises an RDBMS(Relational DataBase Management Subsystem)(102,112). The SMPs(100a,100b) cover subscriber/service management and system operation. The SCPs(110-1-110-n) cover service logic execution, data processing, and signalling. The SCPs(110-1-110-n) comprises FEPs(Front End Processor)(116a,116b). The PSTN(130), comprising an SSP(Service Switching Point)(132), is connected to the AIN system through an SS7(Signalling System No.7) signalling network(120). The SS7 signalling network(120) is connected with an IP(Intelligent Peripheral)(122). A card inquiry system(150) is connected to the SCPs(110-1-110-n) through an X.25 network(140).
