摘要 PURPOSE: An independent type fuel supply apparatus for a gas engine is provided to compact structure and to independently control the fuel amount of each cylinder by independently controlling the cylinders by a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: In an independent fuel supply method, gas fuel is supplied into a common chamber(13) through a common fuel inlet(12). Each cylinder has two fuel supply orifices(7) and an opening plate(4). One end of the opening plate is supported on a support point(6) while the other end is made of a sealing rubber plate(5) for the opening and closure of the fuel supply orifice. When a solenoid(10) is not in operation, the fuel supply orifice is closed by the torque of a spring(9) pressing down a piston(8). If the solenoid is operated, the opening plate is lifted up by the torque of the solenoid against the torque of the spring. Then, fuel is supplied. The fuel supply orifice and the solenoid are arranged radially. Large and small fuel supply orifices are alternately arranged to supply fuel to each cylinder. In a region of small amount of fuel supply, fuel supply amount is controlled by the pulse width control of the small fuel supply orifice. If fuel supply amount is increased, pulse width control of the large fuel supply orifice is performed simultaneously. Therefore, fuel is sufficiently supplied. As precise air-fuel ratio control is possible even in the region of small amount of fuel supply, engine performance is improved over the entire operation regions. Moreover, exhaust gas reduction effect is maximized.
