PURPOSE: A seat for vehicle is provided to prevent the neck bone from being broken by a sudden stopping or a vehicle collision by securing a space between shoulders of a passenger or a driver and an upper part of a seat back and mounting a headrest more forwardly than the upper part of the seat back. CONSTITUTION: A seat for vehicle includes a cushion(10), a seat back(20) mounted at a rear part of the cushion for supporting a back of a passenger, a headrest(30) mounted at an upper end of the seat back and controllable in height and tilting for supporting a head of the passenger, wherein a space(S) is formed between a front upper part of the seat back and a shoulder portion of the passenger by depressing the upper part backwardly more than a front lower part, so that the headrest is protruded forward rather than the upper part of the seat back.
