The invention relates to an interference suppressor for an electronic device, comprising at least one plug-in device having a plug-in element, adapted to be used in the housing of an electronic device, and a capacitor that has at least two capacitor plates for improving the electromagnetic sensibility. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and inexpensive suppressor device for electronic devices that is also suitable for mass production. To this end, the capacitor is disposed outside of the housing of the electronic device and is electrically connected to a plug-in element of the plug-in device and to the potential of the electroconductive housing.
