<p>A method of recovery of material from vehicle tyre (5) casings by gouging pieces from the tyre casing material with an arcuate shaped blade. The speed of cutting is kept to be lower than a speed which will cause the material of the casing to melt. The blades are indexed buttons (14) and cut a curved piece (11) which can be used with a binder for mats and other shock absorbing applicationa.</p> |
