<p>A controlled, liquid sealed-in type vibration damper designed to have less effect caused by introducing pressure into an introduction pipe for switchable introduction of the atmospheric pressure and negative pressure into a switching chamber, and to make it possible to attain stabilized liquid sealability and assemblage. To this end, the device comprises a partition (10) internally provided with a partition main member (15) and a partition plate member (16), a main liquid chamber (7), a first auxiliary liquid chamber (8), a second auxiliary liquid chamber (9), and a switching chamber (12), the two auxiliary liquid chambers (8, 9) being in communication with the main liquid chamber (7) through orifices (13, 14), the partition main member (15) having a passageway (21) into which a switching introduction pipe (22) is force-fitted, the atmospheric pressure and negative pressure being switchingly introducible into the switching chamber (12), wherein a seal surface (23) abutting against a seal rubber layer (1a) on the inner periphery of a cylindrical barrel (3a) is formed around the open end of the passageway (21) in the outer peripheral surface of the partition main member (15), and a pressure receiving surface (25) wider than the other portion of the outer peripheral surface is formed on the opposite side of the device axis to the seal surface (23), making it possible to disperse the external force produced during the force-fitting of the introduction pipe.</p> |
