There is provided a medicament dispenser comprising a medicament container (310) having a dispensing outlet (312); an agitator (365) for agitating the contents of the container (310); and a driver (340) for driving the agitator (365) independently of any movement of the container (310). The medicament dispenser can be a metered dose inhaler for delivery of inhalable medicament.
