PURPOSE: An image noise removing apparatus is provided to perform a definition correction, a color correction, and a gamma correction of an image signal by changing a control variable according to a storage time of a pickup device. CONSTITUTION: A photographic lens(10) forms an image of a subject to be photographed on an input surface of a CCD(15). The CCD(15) pickups the image of a subject and outputs a corresponding analog signal. An analog signal processor(20) includes a CDS which correlated double samples the analog signal from the CCD(15) and an AGC which controls a gain of the analog signal. An A/D converter(25) converts the analog signal from the analog signal processor(20) into a digital signal. A DSP(30) processes the digital signal from the A/D converter(25) and generates an image signal. A microprocessor(40) performs a definition correction, a color correction, and a gamma correction of an image signal. A display device(50) operates by the image signal from the DSP(30) and displays a corresponding image.
