<p>The present invention relates to a composition capable of inhibiting or preventing mycobacterial growth. In one embodiment of the present invention the composition comprises an inhibitor of secretory tyrosine phosphatases from mycobacteria as an active agent. In a further embodiment the composition comprises a secretory tyrosine phosphatase from mycobacteria or an immunogenic fragment thereof or a nucleic acid encoding a secretory tyrosine phosphatase from mycobacteria or an immunogenic fragment thereof.</p> |
