摘要 PURPOSE: An overload control method in a load sharing intelligent network system is provided to offer an overload control method in an intelligent network system having an N+1 structured service control system. CONSTITUTION: If a detection timer wakes, an SMP(Service Management Point) extracts measurement values from monitoring data by SCPs(Service Control Points)(S1). The SMP executes the sampling and averaging of the measurement values(S2). The SMP fixes overload levels for the average of the measurement values and extracts the maximum level(S3). In case that an overload cause is by call congestion, the SMP determines overload types, such as critical, warning, minor, major, normal, etc., for the whole of SCPs(S5). In case that an overload type is critical, the SMP informs a service manager of overload monitoring information through a service management GUI and judges whether all the SCPs are overloaded(S6,S7). In case that all the SCPs are overloaded, the SMP executes call gapping(S8). If all the SCPs are not overloaded, the SMP executes load balancing(S9).
