PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily crush and remove in a very short time the head of a concrete pile protruding out of the ground. SOLUTION: A plurality of vertical holes 17 are cut in the top 1b of the concrete pile 1 protruding out of the ground 3. Tapered split plates formed of a material harder than the concrete pile 1 are fitted into the vertical holes 17 and enlargers are forcibly press fitted in between the split plates to crush the head of the concrete pile 1. Thereafter, a plurality of horizontal holes 27 are cut in the remainder 25 left on the head la of the concrete pile 1. The split plates are fitted into the horizontal holes 27 and the enlargers are forcibly press fitted in between the split plates to crush the remainder 25 of the concrete pile 1.
