PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azole-condensed heterocyclic anilide compound and an agrochemical and herbicide containing the compound as an active component based on the new finding that the compound of the present invention having anilide group bonded to a specific site of an azole-condensed heterocyclic group has herbicidal action. SOLUTION: The objective compound is expressed by formula (I) [Z1-Z2-Z3-Z 4-Z5-Z1 is a bond style such as C-N=C(R4)-C(R5)=C, C-N-N=C(R4)-N=C and C-N-N=N-C(R5)=C; R1 is H, a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl or the like; R2 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; R3 is H, a halogen, nitro, cyano or the like; R4 and R5 are each independently H, a 1-6C alkyl (the alkyl groups of R4 and R5 may together form a 4-7C ring structure), a 3-6C cycloalkyl or the like; X is CO2R10 (R10 is H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like) or the like].
