PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition capable of readily transferring a pharmaceutically active ingredient into a brain or a reagent capable of readily transferring a labeled substance into a brain, and to provide a method for delivering the pharmaceutically active ingredient or the labeled substance into the brain. SOLUTION: A pharmaceutically active substance or the labeled substance is bound to a hibernation-specific protein and used as a conjugate. The pharmaceutically active ingredient or labeled substance is delivered into the brain by administering the resultant conjugate together with thyroid hormones or a substance promoting the secretion thereof.
