An add-on aggregate (1) for a machining centre can be detachably mounted on the spindle unit of the machining centre. The add-on aggregate is equipped with at least one holding means (21) for holding a device, such as a machining tool or aggregate for wood or wood-like materials, plastics or the like, or a handling or sensor device. The aggregate further has at least one drive mechanism for changing the position of the holding means (21) in the add-on aggregate (1).
