PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a door driving mechanism and a cage driving mechanism. SOLUTION: This elevator has a door section 4 divided into a drive door 4a and a driven door 4b. The door 4 is such that the drive door 4a and the driven door 4b are engaged with each other in mutually interlocking relation in the door closing direction, and the driven door 4b is returned by spring force together with the motion of the drive door 4a in the door opening direction, and the drive door 4a is driven by a motor to move to a start position. In this case, since the driven door 4b is engaged with the drive door 4a while the drive door 4a closes, both of the doors 4a and 4b close, and since the driven door 4b is always energized in the door opening direction, it is enough to drive only the drive door 4a to open the door 4 in the same way in closing the door 4. A floor side door and a floor door frame are unlocked mechanically by making the drive and driven doors 4a and 4b move simultaneously by connecting each of the drive doors on the side of a cage 2 and the side of a floor by an engaging hook 6 arranged on the side of the cage 2 and driving the floor door locking mechanism formed in the back face of the floor side door by means of the hook 6. |
