PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the position of a feed opening so that electromagnetic waves are centralized at a substance to be heated on the low temperature side during centralized heating by heating a plurality of substances to be heated at the same temperature through simultaneous heating through combination of uniform heating and centralized heating by a high frequency heating device. SOLUTION: A placing table 6 is rotated to effect uniform heating and when the temperatures of a plurality of substances 25 and 26 to be heated and a temperature difference therebetween are discriminated, the substance 25 to be heated on the low temperature side is heated in a centralized manner by stopping the placing table 6 in the vicinity of the feed opening 16. The feed opening 16 is formed in a side wall 27 of a heating chamber 3 and in a position situated closer to a lower part than an approximate central part 28 in a vertical direction. This constitution adjusts the finishing temperatures of a plurality of the substances to be heated approximately to one and the same.
