PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable completion of gas fitting, electrical work, etc., inside a bathroom, in retrofitting installation of a bathroom heating and drying unit. SOLUTION: The bathroom heating and drying unit is provided with a heat source unit 5 for supplying hot water to a bathtub 4 and carrying out follow up burning for the bathtub 4 inside an air inlet and exhaust cylinder ventilating hole 3 of an existing balanced flue type bath boiler arranged through the outer wall 2 of a bathroom 1. A heating medium heater for heating and drying 7 is assembled into the heat source 5, and the bathroom 1 is heated and dried, by circulating the heating medium heated by the heating medium heater 7 for hearting and drying inside a radiator 8 installed inside the bathroom 1. As a result, all of the gas fitting and the electrical work can be completed within the bathroom.
