PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a troubleshooting function for troubles in an ignition system and a temperature sensor of a hot-water supply apparatus in a troubleshooting support device provided with a communication function with a hot-water supply apparatus. SOLUTION: The troubleshooting support device 1 is constituted to be communicable with a controller 21 of a hot-water supply apparatus 2 through an interface 2. A sequence necessary for diagnosing a secondary gas pressure is stored in the device 1, and an operation command is transmitted on the basis of the sequence to the hot-water supply apparatus 2. The device 1 receives an operation condition of the device 2 from communication and an input operation into an input means 14, and diagnoses presence/absence of a failure, in accordance with the stored sequence on the basis of the information on the operation condition.
