PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warp yarn heald for a loom suitable for weaving a thick leno woven fabric or a thick four-axis woven fabric using thick yarns. SOLUTION: This warp yarn heald for the loom is obtained by arranging many pipes 2 for inserting and passing warp yarns and attaching the many pipes 2 to a heald bar 1 in the warp yarn heald having the many warp yarns arranged at a regular interval in a weaving width of the loom and further carrying out the shedding for inserting a weft yarn. The pipes 2 have curved tips thereof and the cross sections thereof are in an elliptical shape flat in the direction at right angles from the orienting direction.
