PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the ice making water tank and sprinkler of an open cell type automatic ice machine easily attachable and detachable so as to make the cleaning of the tank and sprinkler easier. SOLUTION: This oven cell type ice machine is provided with an ice making section case A which is constituted in such a way that the front and rear edges of its paired left and right side sections 20 are connected to each other through front and rear walls 35 and 30, the ice making water tank 40 provided under the case A, and the sprinkler 50 provided in the inner lower part of the case A. The machine is also provided with an ice making chamber 60 which is positioned in the inner upper part of the case A, has a plurality of ice making cells 62 which receive ice making water sprinkled upward from the sprinkler 50, and is cooled by means of cooling pipes 65. The ice making water tank 40 is locked to a prescribed position by means of a latch mechanism 45 in a state where the side sections of the case A are slidably guided and supported by a pair of tank supporting grooves 27 formed in the lower end sections of the side sections of the case A, and the sprinkler 50 is positioned by means of the retaining member 42 of the tank 40 in a state where the sprinkler 40 is slidably guided and supported by a pair of sprinkler supporting grooves 28 formed in the lower parts of the side sections of the case A.
