<p>The regulator has a control piston (5) with a projection (25) whose outer face (31) has at least two areas (35,37) of different outer diameters. They are separated from each other by a sharp-edged step (39). The step matches a diaphragm (29) so that the control edge (21) of the control piston just touches the downstream bore (7) when the step is mounted inside the diaphragm. The diaphragm has a very small width measured in the axial direction of the control piston.</p> |
