<p>A silicone pressure sensitive adhesive compsn. comprises (A) 50-80 pts.wt. of a non-reactive solvent soluble organopolysiloxane resin consisting of siloxane units of the formula R3SiO1/2 (I) and siloxane units of the formula SiO4/2 (II) R = monovalent radical selected from hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons, at least one third of all R radicals being methyl; in a mole ratio of 0.6/1-1.2/1; (B) 20-50 pts.wt. of a polydiorganosiloxane, the organic radicals being selected from hydrocarbon and halogenated hydrocarbon radicals wherein at least half of the organic radicals are methyl, the polydiorganosiloxane having at least 3 alkenyl gps. in its mol., with the proviso that the alkenyl gp. content of the polydiorganosiloxane is 0.1-4 mole%, the total amt. of components (A) and (B) being 100 pts.wt.; and (C) an organo-hydrogen polysiloxane crosslinking agent having an average of at least 3 SiH gps. per mol., in an amt. sufficient to provide a molar ratio of SiH gps. of component (C) to alkenyl gps. of component (B) of 0.1-less than 0.9; and (D) a curing amt. of a hydrolysation catalyst. Also claimed is a substrate coated with the pressure sensitive adhesive compsn.</p> |
