PURPOSE: An advanced treatment system of sewage and wastewater is provided, which can guarantee stable quality of discharge water even when influent water quality and nitrogen removing efficiency drops without any additional facility. The system also can simplify the process by eliminating internal recycle line thus saving operating cost. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a first reaction section where raw wastewater and denitrified wastewater from an anoxic tank(15) are introduced into a 1st aeration tank(12) through an anaeration tank(11) to eliminate phosphorous; a second reaction section where wastewater with high MLSS concentration from a final settling tank(13) is introduced into a 2nd aerobic tank(14) for nitrification and then nitrified wastewater in the 2nd aerobic tank is introduced an anoxic tank(15) being mixed with raw wastewater, digester liquor, primary clarifier fermentation liquor for endogenous denitrification; and a final settling tank(13) from which the whole sludge generated is fed to the 2nd aerobic tank(14) where the excess sludge is discharged.
