FIXING UNIT OF HEAT INSULATING MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A fixing unit of heat insulating material is provided to mount heat insulating material at the rear of a steel truss for a curtain wall without requiring an additional fixing plate and to improve construction efficiency by using clips and blind rivets. CONSTITUTION: A clip(5A) consists of fixing units(7A) formed at both ends to insert both leaves of a c-type channel respectively, a body(6A) bent in the center to apply elasticity to both ends, and a support unit(8A) extended in L shape from the body. When a user pushes the fixing units at both ends of the body, the center of the body bent in a circular form gets narrower to insert the clip into the C-type channel. The clip is connected with the leaves of the C-type channel with returning to the original form when the user releases the clip. The support unit is extended horizontally from the body and then bent vertically at the end. Thereby, the support unit is protruded in L shape from the body entirely. A hole(9A) is formed in the center of the vertically bent part. A fixing pin(10) is used for fixing heat insulating material. The fixing pin has a side connected to the hole of the support unit of the clip and the other side penetrating the heat insulating material. The fixing pin is used with a blind rivet. The user inserts the blind rivet into the hole of the support unit, forms a rivet head and then fits the heat insulating material into the blind rivet. Thereby, the fixing pin is set easily and the heat insulating material is kept firmly.
