The store (8) has at least one outlet (18), to which a distributor (17,21) is connected. A tube (9) passes through the distributor co-axially and projects into the store, almost as far as the opposite end of the store. The tube is connected to another distributor (5,14), to which a cold-water or consumption-water line (4,15) is connected. A third connection of the second distributor is connected to a heat exchanger (1). which is also connected to a second connection of the first distributor, of which the third connection is closed and has the tube passing through it; it may also have a fourth connection for a line to a tapping point.
