METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLAT SOFT MAGNETIC METAL POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which thin and flat soft magnetic metal powder can be produced from a disk shape in a short pulverizing time, in a simple pulverizing stage and further only by controlling the pulverizing time. SOLUTION: As to this method for producing flat soft magnetic metal powder, in the producing method in which soft magnetic metal powder is subjected to mechanical flat working with a pulverizer using a pulverizing medium by an atomizing method, the pulverizing is performed in such a manner that an alcoholic organic solvent by an amount 1/2 to double the clearance volume of the soft magnetic metal powder and fatty acid by 0.1 to 2 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the metal powder are mixed.
