PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile vehicle position managing system for accurately managing a position of a mobile vehicle by suppressing a power consumption. SOLUTION: The mobile vehicle position managing system comprises a power source switch means 12 for turning ON, OFF a power supply, a position measuring means 14 for measuring a position of a motor operated cart 10, a communicating means 16, and a control circuit 11 for controlling the measuring means 14 and the communicating means 16 as well as the switch means 12. A host station 20 has a host side communicating means 22 and a memory 23 in the cart 10. The circuit 11 of the cart 10 transmits position measurement result data measured by the means 14 and an identification number of the cart 10 from the means 16 to the station 20 when a switch of the means 12 is opened, and then stops a power supply to the means 12. Thus, the station 20 side can accurately manage the position of the cart 10 and suppress the power consumption of the cart 10. |
