PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminated rotary electronic part and an electronic device using the same having a uniform and stable pointer part 60, remedying a problem involved in a conventional illuminated rotary electronic part where the intensity of illumination of the pointer part 60 by a light from a light source 20 varies with the swinging position of a knob 70. SOLUTION: This electronic part comprises a knob 7 having a translucent pointer part 6, a light guide member 5 for guiding light to a pointer part 60, a housing 3 in which a passive element is accommodated, and a rotating shaft 4 projected outwardly from the housing 3, wherein the knob 7 is fastened to an end of the rotating shaft 4, the light guide member 5 has an annular ring part 5a, the annular ring part 5a is disposed at the outer periphery of the rotating shaft 4 so as to surround the rotating shaft 4, the rotating shaft 4 and the light guide member 5 swing together by the swing of the knob 7, and the light is guided to the pointer part 60 by an annular ring part 5a to illuminate the pointer part 60.
