PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument, a method, and a recording medium for electromagnetic wave noise measurement which can prevent electromagnetic wave noise from being mismeasured and improve measurement efficiency. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave noise measuring instrument 10 includes a PC 12, an electric field intensity meter 14, a spectrum analyzer 16, a preamplifier 18, a controller 20, a printer 22, etc. The controller 20 is connected to a turntable 28 for rotating an object of electromagnetic wave noise measurement, e.g. a copying machine 26 and an antenna elevator 32 for elevating an antenna 30 for measuring electromagnetic wave noise radiated from the copying machine 26. The controller 20 controls the turntable 28 and antenna elevation table 32 according to indications of the PC 12. The PC 12 compares a QP value obtained by the electric field intensity meter 14 with a peak level obtained by the spectrum analyzer 16 and displays an error message when the difference is large.
