PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sheet feeding condition for feeding at least two kinds of paper sheets in a space inside of a cassette with simple structure, and to provide the sheet feeding condition for feeding multiple number of paper sheets when necessary without complicating the structure. SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device is provided with a first housing part 2 for housing the paper sheets 1, a second housing part 4 provided inside the first housing part 2 and for housing the paper sheets 3, a common feeding means for feeding the paper sheets 1 and 3 one by one from the first and the second housing parts 2 and 4, and a moving means 6 for moving the second housing part 4 to a position for feeding the paper sheets 3 with a delivery means. The second housing part 4 can be removed when necessary so as to feed at least two kinds of paper sheets or multiple number of paper sheets.
