PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition plate of a waste container allowing easiness of a holding work for the top of the partition plate of a waste bag disposed on the partition plate, and the waste container having the partition plate. SOLUTION: The inner space of a container body 12 of the waste container 11 is partitioned by the partition plate 13, and waste bags 44 can be stored and mounted in the partitioned spaces. Respective storing grooves 14 are recessed downwardly on both sides of a peripheral edge rib 26 of the top of the partition plate 13, a part of the opening end of each waste bag 44 stored in the container body 12 can be stored in each storing groove 14. A pressing member 35 is mounted on the top of the partition plate 13 vertically rotatably. When the pressing member 35 is rotated to the partition plate 13 side, the opening end of each waste bag 44 is sandwiched between the top of the partition plate 13 and the inner surface of the pressing member 35.
