PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organometallic compound having a blue, green or red light emitting characteristics and good in thermal stability, and further to provide an organic electric light emission element including the organometallic compound. SOLUTION: This organometallic fluorescent material is a compound represented by general formula (III) (wherein, M4 is a mono-to tetra-valent metal selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, K, Zr, Si, Ti, Sn, Cs, Fr, Rb, Hf, Pr, Pa, Ge, Pb, Tm and Md; R is H or a 1-10C alkyl group; B is O, S, Se or Te; D is O or S; and n is an integer of 1-4). The organic electric light emission element includes the organometallic fluorescent material in an organic light-emitting layer. The organic light emission element includes the organometallic fluorescent material singly, in a shape of a mixture with a polymer or an inorganic compound, or a shape of a dopant in the polymer. The organic electric light emission element has the organic light emission layer deposited by a spin coating, an evaporation method, a vacuum thermal evaporation method, a spattering or an electron beam evaporation method.
