PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a oilproof paper for a food, having all of water resistance, discoloration resistance of a resin, and odorless of the resin in the oilproof paper for the food, and hardly having the problems of generation of chlorine gas at the time of combustion by using a resin free from the chlorine as the oil-resistant resin layer. SOLUTION: This oilproof paper for the food is characterized in that the oilproof paper is obtained by applying a coating material comprising an acrylic resin emulsion on a paper, and drying the coated paper to form the oil-resistant resin layer, and the oil-resistant resin layer has 40-70 deg.C glass transition temperature.
