PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a snow melting pipe capable of simply cleaning the snow melting pipe without giving an adverse effect to the environment. SOLUTION: A cleaning ball 20 is retained in expanded pipe sections 15A and 15B provided at branch portions between water guide main pipes 13A and 13B and the snow melting pipe 14 connected to the water guide main pipes 13A and 13b transferring underground water 10. The inflow of the underground water into the snow melting pipe 14 is switched from one to the other of the water guide main pipes 13A and 13B so that the cleaning ball 20 is moved between both ends of the snow melting pipe 14.
