PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thigh or hand portion protector, by which the product advantageous for production, scarcely deformed and having a good fitting touch can be produced. SOLUTION: This method for producing the thigh or hand portion protector comprises an adhesion process, a cutting process, a molding process, and a machine-sewing and positioning process. The melting point of a material to be used for a protector cup is lower by >=30 deg.C than the melting point of a material used for the front piece of a cushion member to prevent the formation of a defective product in response to the state of deformation or melting. The protector cup can integrally be connected to the front piece of the cushion member by an injection molding method to unnecessitate a manual machine- sewing work or a rivet connection work, relatively save man powers, enhance productivity and improve the production. The method can be combined with an automatic production process to enhance the relative competitive power of the product. The cushion front piece, a nipped layer member and a cushion back piece are connected to each other by a surface-surface adhesion method, and thereby, the obtained product is scarcely deformed and has a good fitting touch. |
