PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent composite powder which, when used as cosmetics, exhibits an excellent transparency and has not only the functions of providing the shape trouble correction effects, making wrinkles, opening of pores, and roughness of skin texture hardly visible, but also the functions of providing the tone trouble correction effects of skin color, making liver spots, freckles, and acne spots hardly visible and which, when compared with conventional cosmetics, provides an especially smooth feeling in use, is less darkish in color and more transparent, and can finish the skin color more lighter. SOLUTION: This composite powder comprises a clay mineral and aluminum hydroxide adhered to the surface thereof. The aluminum hydroxide adhered forms a shape of a cup with a lid, and the surface of the clay mineral, preferably the clay mineral in an amount as much as possible, adheres to the bottom of the cup. This composite powder can accomplish the above tasks and, when used as a powder for cosmetics, provides the above excellent effects. The effects attempted as above can be further enhanced by forming an aluminum hydroxide covering layer on the surface of the composite powder or by treating the surface with a silicone. |
