PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress shifting socks, even if an anomaly occurs in either of the input shaft rotational frequency sensor or the output shaft rotational frequency sensor, in a torque phase during shifting by an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: When an anomaly is detected in either one of the input shaft rotational frequency sensor 19 or the output shaft rotational frequency sensor 21 during a control period of the torque phase during shifting of the automatic transmission 1, a limit is applied to control oil pressure of the torque phase. Correction is applied according to a control oil pressure set, on the basis of an estimated input shaft torque of the automatic transmission 1 by F/F (feed forward) control to be used as control oil pressure of this torque phase. According to this, even when an anomaly occurs in the input shaft rotational frequency sensor 19 for detecting the input shaft rotational frequency during shifting by the automatic transmission 1, proper control oil pressure is provided for properly continuing oil pressure control and suppressing shifting shocks.
