摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a two-stroke cycle internal combustion engine attaining high heat efficiency by reducing nitrogen oxide, smoke, and discharge concentration of unburned fuel in a wide range of an engine speed and a load. SOLUTION: This two-stroke cycle internal combustion engine, having compression ratio incapable of continuing normal operation by generating abnormal combustion by conception as in the past to make self ignition combustion of a combustible mixture by adjusting an amount of supplied air and residual gas, is provided with a fuel supply means capable of independently changing an amount and a degree of dispersion of fuel supplied into a cylinder, to properly set at least one of fuel injection timing, a number of fuel injection times, a supply pressure of fuel, and a number of fuel injection valves.
