The engine has a sealing element (4) in the cylinder cavity aperture (2) which is deformed when assembled. The sealing element is in the form of an annular metal body fitted with preset clearance (S) inside the aperture in the main body (1). This element has at least one projection (10, 11) round it, which is plastically deformed during assembly.
