PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive material storage facility capable of keeping radiation shielding performance over a long period by effectively preventing the crack of a concrete screen and the loss of moisture, and excellent in durability with less damage by an external stress such as seismic load or the like. SOLUTION: A concrete module 10 comprises a canister 11 and a screen 12. A cooling air passage 21 is formed between the screen 12 and the canister 11. The concrete screen 12 is formed of a thick cylinder 12a and upper and lower lids, and the surface of the screen is entirely covered with a steel plate 15 to retain the moisture in the concrete within the screen over a long period. A headed stud 16 that is a latch is welded to the surface of the steel plate 15 and integrated to the internal concrete. A cylindrical heat insulating material layer 21 is formed in the central part in the thickness direction of the screen cylinder part 12.
