PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil supply pipe connecting socket allowing an quick connection of an oil supply pipe whether made of metal or rubber installed on the side with a separately provided petroleum tank without using any particular adapter and also admitting a metal pipe connectable outside diameter may range widely. SOLUTION: The oil supply pipe connecting socket is provided at the outer shell of the body of an oil burning heater for generating a connection with an oil supply pipe of either metal or rubber on the side with a separately provided petroleum tank, wherein a metal pipe connection part furnished at the peripheral edge with a specific inclination is formed for generating a connection of its one end with a body side metal pipe leading partially to an oil leveler installed inside the heater body and the metal oil supply pipe on the petroleum tank side and also a male thread portion for sack-form nut is formed, while a rubber pipe connection part subjected partially to a flare processing is formed for generating connection of the oil supply pipe made of rubber.
