PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calculate range-finding information without focusing on glass even in the case of range-finding over the glass. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a range-finding information calculation means (#204, #203 and #206) for calculating the range-finding information based on the light receiving output of a photodetector means obtained respectively by the range-finding in plural directions when a decision means for deciding whether or not the present range-finding is the range-finding through glass decides that all the range-finding in plural directions is not the range-finding through glass. The range-finding information is calculated based on the light receiving output except the light receiving output showing a specified short distance among the light receiving outputs other than in the direction where the range-finding through the glass is decided when the decision means decides that it is the range-finding through the glass in any one direction among plural directions. |
