PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solvent and water resistant aqueous rubber adhesive having a long pot life and low hazardousness. SOLUTION: This aqueous rubber adhesive is obtained by using a curing agent prepared by dispersing one or more kinds of powdery alkaline earth metal compounds selected from alkaline earth metal carbonates, oxides and hydroxides in an aqueous polymer composition unreactive with the alkaline earth metal compounds and compatible with the rubber aqueous polymer composition which is a principal ingredient in the alkaline principal ingredient prepared by adding a volatile aqueous amine compound to a carboxyl group containing aqueous rubber polymer composition as the curing agent.
