PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping member assuring an improved performance. SOLUTION: The damping member 1 for a conduit receiving pressure pulsation and to lead a gas or liquid medium has a hollow structure to admit flow of the medium and is installed in such a way as intruded into an opening 13 provided in a fastening member 3. A projection and/or recess 17 and/or 19 are formed on/in the inside surface of the fastening member 3 so that the damping member 1 and fastening member 3 are coupled together by friction firmly.
