The hand tool has a spirally wound tape (1) fastened to a fixed point at the inner end (3), and the other end (2) for pulling. If the fixed point is located on e.g. a screw nut (27), traction applied to the outer end, the band is pulled tightly together, the fixed point is pressed against the nut with increasing pressure. This applies a turning force to the nut and generates a holding effect. The tool may be a screw driver tool, independent of size and shape of nuts, a universal replacement for pipe wrench, suspension or holding tools, retention tape for the forestry industry, to prevent damage to timber during felling. |
