PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for broadcasting a game through the Internet are provided to reduce data amount to be transmitted required to broadcast the game by executing a game program installed on a viewer's computer in response to data transmitted thereto. CONSTITUTION: A network game server(10) relays a data exchange among computers(11) of game players connected to the Internet or a LAN(Local Area Network) and a file input and output, for the game players who want to play a network game. The computers(11) of the game players are each a computer connecting to the network game server(10) and progressing the network game. A recorder(20) is installed in the network game server(10) or the computers(11) of the game players. The recorder(20) collects a game data and transfers it to a relay server(30). The relay server(30) processes the game data transferred from the recorder(20) so as to replay it on a computer(60) of a viewer. A network game database(40) stores the processed game data for a viewer who does not watch a live broadcasting. A screening module(50) is a program installed on the computer(60) of the viewer. The screening module(50) shows the network game by using the processed game data.
