The method for warning when the force on a plastic pipe is about to exceed the permissible limit is used in the burst lining process for fitting a new pipe (5) in place of existing pipes (2). The force is measured continuously or periodically at the position of the lining head (1) and is fed by a high frequency (GHz) wireless connection to a warning device or processor.
