<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce failure in repair by a laser beam to a luminescent point pixel in a liquid crystal panel of normally white display. SOLUTION: Wiring 21 for connecting between a TFT 13 of the luminescent point pixel to be repaired, and a pixel electrode 14 and an auxiliary capacitor 17 to be connected with this TFT 13 is disconnected at a disconnection part A so that a DC voltage is always applied to the liquid crystal 16 by a potential difference generated across an auxiliary capacitor line 18, a capacitance Cs, a capacitance Clc and a counter electrode 15, and thus the repaired luminescent point pixel is made dark.</p> |
