PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which has excellent insulation characteristics and a refrigeration efficiency, being provided with a refrigeration space encircled with insulation materials having heat storage property. SOLUTION: The storage space of the refrigerator is encircled with an insulation material of a foam such as a rigid urethane foam. In the foam material, there are dispersed microcapsules with a latent-heat storage agent encapsulated in shells.
