PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softener composition having high inhibitory effect on sweat-derived odor. SOLUTION: This softener composition comprises (a) a quaternary ammonium salt or the like having at least one 16-36C hydrocarbon group, (b) didecyldimethylammonium chloride or the like, and (c) a compound of general formula (2) and/or a compound of general formula (3) (in the formulas (2) and (3), R5 and R10 are each an 8-16C alkyl or the like; R7 and R8 are each a 1-3C alkyl; X is COO or the like; n is 0 or 1; R6 and R9 are each a 1-6C alkylene or the like; and Y- is an anionic group).
